Lucas Smith is entering his fourth year as Manager of RecSports & Varsity Camps. He attended the University of Missouri - Columbia, where he studied Sport Management.
While at Mizzou, Lucas worked at Mizzou Rec for all four years. He started as an Intramural Sport official, and progressed his way to an IM Lead. He worked closely with student officials, training them in multiple sports, including volleyball, basketball, and flag football.
Lucas was also involved with NIRSA his senior year, refereeing a Regional Basketball Tournament at the University of Texas - Arlington. In April 2022, he was selected to officiate the National Tournament in Wichita.
Lucas loves the St. Louis Cardinals, officiating basketball and baseball at the high school level, and spending time with his friends and family.
