Coach Spanoudakis enters her first season with the WashU track and field program during the 2023-24 campaign. A graduate of the University of Iowa, Spanoudakis will work primarily with the throws athletes at WashU.
Spanoudakis is a seven-time Greek National Champion (age groups U17 and U23), a five-time Greek National Team member. Including: U17 World Championships in Cali Columbia (2015) and U19 European Championships (2017), and a two-time Balkan Championships runner up (2015), (2016).
At the University of Iowa, Spanoudakis was the Big Ten runner-up in the discus throw in 2019 and she owned the 5th-best throw in the year 2019 in Division I.
Additionally, Spanoudakis was voted Freshman of the Year (2018) and Most Improved on the University of Iowa Track and Field team (2019).
Spanoudakis' personal bests are 57.95m in the discus and 14.30m in the shot put.
