Allen Rice was hired as the Varsity Travel Coordinator at WashU in September 2023, overseeing all the travel logistics for the Bears' 19 sports.
In August 2025, Rice was promoted to the newly created position of Events and Travel Manager. In this role, he continues to support varsity team travel while also working to manage varsity athletic events and other campus events hosted in the athletic facilities.
Prior to his time at WashU, Rice spent one year as a transportation supervisor at SLU, and held several roles within Heartland Coca-Cola over the span of five years.
Rice holds a bachelor's degree in human resources management and services from Southeastern Missouri State (SEMO) and an MBA in logistics, materials and supply chain management from Lindenwood.
