Dave Reinhardt joined the WashU women’s golf program as an assistant coach in the summer of 2018.
In his first season, WashU set several program-bests including the lowest round (289 at the Rhodes Classic), lowest 36-hole score (588 at the Illinois Wesleyan Classic) and the lowest 72-hole score (1,276 at the NCAA Division III National Championship). In addition, the Bears posted a program-best scoring average in 2018-19 (310.24).
Reinhardt is the co-founder and lead instructor at Next Step Golf Academy in St. Louis while also serving as the assistant golf professional at Tapawingo National Golf Club.
He has led the Tapawingo PGA Junior League Teams for the past five seasons, rising most recently in 2018 to qualify for the final four matches of the Gateway PGA Region.
Reinhardt was the tournament coordinator and golf services manager for the Fox Run Golf Club in Eureka, Mo. He directed 60 championships, competitions and outings.
The St. Louis resident has also served as a golf professional at Jacksonville Golf & Country Club and oversaw the club’s junior golf camps and clinics. Reinhardt also helped reestablish the Summer Junior Golf Program at St. John’s Golf & Country Club.
He graduated from Truman State University with a bachelor’s in science. Reinhardt and his wife, Jennifer, have one daughter, Reese.
