2016-17: Posted a season-best distance of 54.20m in the javelin throw at UAA Championships on April 22.

High School: Team captain and five-year letterwinner in track and field at Ouachita Christian School … also a team captain for football and basketball, lettering for four and five years respectively …  Helped lead his team to become Team State Champions in 2012 as was as Team State Runner-Up four times … Placed third in the javelin and discus at the state meet in 2015 … In 2016, placed second in the shot put and first in the javelin and discus … High Point champion for the state meet as well in 2016 … Also lead the football team to three state championships (2011, 2012, 2014) … Personal-bests: javelin-170’ ; shot put-52.5’ ; discus-155’ … National Honor Society … Earned Academic All-State in track, football, and basketball … Received the Buddy Blair Award for Academic Athlete in 2016. 

Personal: Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences … Son of Randall and Janet Bentley.
