Kayla Zoschg

Kayla Zoschg enters her third season as an assistant coach of the WashU track & field program. Zoschg serves as the javelin coach.

She was a member of the outdoor track and field team at Penn State from 2015-17, competing exclusively in the javelin throw. While at Penn State, she was a two-time qualifier for the NCAA Division I East Regional meet and placed eighth at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships in 2017. Zoschg garnered Big Ten Conference All-Academic Team honors three times, Big Ten Distinguished Scholar awards twice, and NCAA Division I Academic All-American honors once.
 
Prior to Penn State, she competed her freshman year at Division III Dickinson College. Zoschg was the 2014 Centennial Conference javelin throw champion and gained All-America and Academic All-America honors with a third-place finish at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
 
She graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Historical Linguistics from Penn State in 2017. Zoschg is pursuing a master's in classics at Washington University, with expected graduation in May 2020.
