Brandon Lum joins the Washinton Universityin St. Louis swimming and diving coaching staff after a four-year career on the Danforth Campus.

Lum broke the NCAA Division III record in the 200-yard butterfly to win the 2017 national title with a time of 1:44.56. He also won the 200-yard butterfly in 2019, adding a third All-American title to his resume (200-yard butterfly 2016, 2017, 2019). Lum also earned honorable mention All-American status two times. 

The Ventura, Calif., native was named the 2016 University Athletic Association Rookie of the Year. He was a five-time All-UAA selection and a four-time UAA champion in the 200-yard butterfly.
