Running

WashU Run Club provides students of all speeds and interest levels the opportunity to run, whether it be socially or competitively! The team offers a mix of competitive, trail, and community races each semester that are open to anyone that is interested.

The group practices 6 times per week. Runners meet at the South 40 clocktower before breaking into groups to run around the area. Weekday practices (Monday - Friday) start at 5:30pm, and weekend practice (Saturday) starts at 9:30am. All practices are optional -- members are encouraged to participate as much or as little as they desire. Additionally, each practice offers options for slower/faster paces and longer/shorter distances. After practice, the group typically meets up to stretch and eat dinner together on the South 40.

Run Club is a social team too, so members are encouraged to attend events to get to know their fellow runners!

Our team hopes to see you at practice soon! If you have any questions, please reach out to a board member, some of whom are listed below.
