Running

WashU Run Club provides students of all speeds and interest levels the opportunity to run, whether it be socially or competitively! The team offers a mix of competitive, trail, and community races each semester that are open to anyone that is interested.Â
Â
The group practices 6 times per week. Runners meet at the South 40 clocktower before breaking into groups to run around the area. Weekday practices (Monday - Friday) start at 5:30pm, and weekend practice (Saturday) starts at 9:30am. All practices are optional -- members are encouraged to participate as much or as little as they desire. Additionally, each practice offers options for slower/faster paces and longer/shorter distances. After practice, the group typically meets up to stretch and eat dinner together on the South 40.Â
Â
Run Club is a social team too, so members are encouraged to attend events to get to know their fellow runners!
Â
Our team hopes to see you at practice soon! If you have any questions, please reach out to a board member, some of whom are listed below.Â
