Washington University in St. Louis

Scoreboard

msocThe WashU Men's Club Soccer team has continued to build on its tradition of excellence. This past season (Fall 2024), the club finished top of the league with a record of   8-1. The team qualified for the Regional Tournament in Kansas, where they went undefeated in the group stage before falling in a sudden-death penalty shootout in the regional championship.

The Fall season generally lasts from early September to late October. Practices are held twice a week during this time. Half of the games are played at home (South Campus Field), and the other half are away against league opponents such as Mizzou, SLU, Missouri State, Arkansas, SIUE, Truman State, SEMO, Maryville, and more.
We are a large student club that gives our players the chance to compete in high-level soccer while maintaining a healthy balance with academics and other activities. During the fall, we compete in an inter-college league with the goal of qualifying for regional and national tournaments. In the winter and spring, we continue competing locally in indoor and 8v8 leagues against adult players in the St. Louis area.

In addition to our closed/exclusive practices and league play for members, we also help organize pickup games open to all students, regardless of whether they make the team. This has contributed to a thriving soccer culture at WashU, exemplified by the popularity of IM and pickup soccer on campus.
Tryouts are generally held the second week of classes. If you have any questions, please reach out via email at washumensclubsoccer@gmail.com or contact us through our Instagram page.
