GRANVILLE, Ohio – The Washington University in St. Louis golf team won its first tournament of the season, taking home the team crown with a two-day score of 603 at Denison's Lynn Schweizer Invitational.
 
The tournament was held at the Denison Golf Club at Granville, a par 71 course spanning 6,559 yards.
 
Senior Amy Beanblossom tied for first, carding a two-day score of 148 (71, 77). Senior Reagan Robinson tied for fourth with a score of 150 (77, 73).
 
Sophomore Angela Chen tied for sixth with a 151 (75, 76) and first-year Eliza Meltzer tied for 11^th with a 155 (76, 79).
 
Sophomore Saxon Skinner finished 14^th with a 156 (76, 80).
 
Individuals
Sophomore Jessy Young finished in third, carding a two-day score of 149 (77, 72).
 
Junior Nicole McGuire tied for sixth with Chen with a 151 (72, 79) and first-year Jessica Liu tied for 11^th with a 155 (77, 78).
 
Junior Mabrie McMahan tied for 21^st with a 161 (76, 85).
 
The Bears head to Batavia, Ohio on Monday, September 14 and Tuesday, September 15 for the UAA Championships at the Elks Run Golf Club.
