GRANVILLE, Ohio – The Washington University in St. Louis golf team is tied for first after day one of Denison's Lynn Schweizer Invitational, which marks the Bears' first competition of 2026-27. The tournament is being held at the Denison Golf Club at Granville, a par 71 course spanning 6,559 yards.
As a team, WashU carded a 298.
Senior
Amy Beanblossom is tied for first after shooting a 71 while sophomore
Angela Chen is tied for seventh with a 75.
First-year
Eliza Meltzer and sophomore
Saxon Skinner are tied for 10
th with 76 and senior
Reagan Robinson is tied for 16
th with a 77.
The Bears also have four golfers participating as individuals.
Junior
Nicole McGuire is in third place with a 69 and first-year
Jessica Liu is tied for seventh with a 75.

Mabrie McMahan and sophomore
Jessy Young are both tied for 10
th with a 76.
WashU concludes the tournament with round two beginning tomorrow morning.
