PALM DESERT, Calif. – The No. 7 Washington University in St. Louis golf team is tied for 10
th with a 304 following the first day of the NCAA Championship. The championship is being held at the Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert, Calif.
Competition is being held on two courses: Firecliff which is a par 72 course that spans 7,056 yards and Mountain View which is a par 72 course that spans 6,913 yards.
The Bears competed on Mountain View today and will compete on Firecliff tomorrow.

Amy Beanblossom are in an eight-way tie for 26
th with a first-round score of 74.

Nicole McGuire is tied for 56
th with a 77 while No. 45 senior
Athena Nguyen is tied for 84
th with a 79.
No. 31 first-year
Saxon Skinner is tied for 102
nd with an 81.
The Bears tee off for day two at 7 a.m. PT tomorrow. Following tomorrow, the field will be cut to the top 15 teams who will move on to the third day of competition on Thursday.
