PALM SPRINGS, Calif. – The No. 3 Washington University in St. Louis golf team finished tied for fifth at the NCAA Preview with a two-day score of 593. The two-day tournament, hosted by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, is at the Desert Willow Golf Resort.
Sophomore
Nicole McGuire finished tied for 15
th with a 145 (72, 73) while junior
Amy Beanblossom finished tied for 21
st with a 148 (72, 76).
First-year
Jessy Young moved up 23 spots from day one to finish tied for 21
st with a 148 (74, 74) and senior
Tiffany Chan tied for 46
th with a 154 (73, 81).
Junior
Reagan Robinson tied for 53
rd with a 156 (77, 79) and senior
Athena Nguyen finished tied for 73
rd with a 162 (79, 83).
The Bears are back in action October 6-7 at Carnegie Mellon's Tartan Invitational.
