ST. CHARLES, Mo. – The No. 10 Washington University in St. Louis softball team ended its 2025 run with a 2-0 loss in the NCAA regional final to No. 11 Redlands on Sunday afternoon. The Bears conclude the season at 34-7 after posting the most wins since 2016. WashU also won its first UAA title since 2016 and hosted its second-straight regional, the second home regional in program history.
Redlands scored its two runs in the bottom of the third inning, starting with a lead off single from Ady Kim. Saya Fuji laid down a sacrifice bunt and Paige Messenlehner was hit by a pitch. Both runners moved up on a passed ball and went on to score on a double down the left line from Brooklyn Bard.

Taylor Geluck went 1-for-3 with a walk.

Maria Brooks took the loss in the circle, pitching a complete game with three hits, two runs and two strikeouts.
