CSCAA RELEASE
Richmond, Va. – The Washington University in St. Louis men's and women's swimming and diving teams were recently named Fall Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
The men's team finished with a 3.80 grade-point-average (GPA) in the fall, posting the second-highest GPA among Division III teams. The women's team finished with the No. 9 GPA in the fall, combining for a 3.77 fall semester.
Additionally, the University Athletic Association (UAA) was one of four Division III athletic conferences to place 100 percent of its members – both men and women's teams – on the Scholar-All America List.
To be eligible for the award, teams had to combine for a 3.0 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale for the fall semester.
In total, 783 teams from 461 institutions were named to the Scholar All-American teams for fall 2023, across all divisions. Teams were selected on the basis of their fall 2023 team GPA and represent a total of 18,716 student-athletes.
