Sydney Kuo was named the Division III PING WGCA Player of the Year, as announced by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) on Wednesday evening.

Kuo is the third player in program history to earn this honor.
This comes on the heels of Wednesday morning's announcement that Kuo repeated as the UAA Player of the Year.
The top-ranked golfer nationally all year, Kuo has led the Bears in the majority of competitions this academic year. Kuo currently has a 71.63 scoring average.
Kuo posted the top score at three competitions this spring – the WashU Invite, Illinois Wesleyan's Kathy Niepagen Spring Fling and the Jekyll Island Invitational. Additionally, she posted the top score at two of the Bears' fall competitions – the Montgomery Women's Intercollegiate and Denison's Lynn Schweizer Invitational.
Recognized annual as the top honor in women's collegiate golf, the PING WGCA Player of the Year Award is given to the best player in Division I, II, III and NAIA women's golf. The award was first given in 1987 and is selected by a prestigious college of women's collegiate golf coaches who follow criteria that has been established to identify the finest player for the past year. The criteria include:
- Head-to-head competition
- Comparison with common opponents
- Scoring average
- Place finished in regular-season events and tournament wins
- Strength of Schedule
All-America
In addition to her Player of the Year nod, Kuo was named a WGCA Division III First Team All-America selection. This is the second year in a row Kuo has picked up First Team All-America honors.
Senior
Annie Mascot earned Honorable Mention All-America accolades. This is the third career All-America honor for Mascot. As of April 26, Mascot held a 76.00 scoring average

Caraline Oakley received Region 3/Central Region honors. This is the second career All-Region honor for Oakley, who has a 77.71 scoring average.

For the second season in a row, head coach
Dave Reinhardt was named Division III Golf Pride WGCA Regional Coach of the Year for the Central Region. He is just the second coach in program history to earn this honor more than once.
