San Antonio, Texas – The No. 2 Washington University in St. Louis men's tennis team defeated No. 11 Trinity 7-2 on Sunday morning. The Bears improve to 13-4 on the season.
 
Gaurav Singh and 
Scott Yamamoto notched the first point of the match at second doubles, defeating Robert Chang and Dalton Locke 8-3. 
Pato Garcia Muriel and 
Colin Scruggs topped Cal Hunter and Conor Kaczmarczyk 8-5 at third doubles to go up 2-0.
 
Phuc Huynh and 
Abhi Ramireddy fell to Hao Nguyen and Eric Liao 8-6 at first doubles.
 
Scruggs picked up a win at fifth singles, defeating Rafa Candelas Ruiz 6-1, 6-2. Singh followed with a win at fourth singles, topping Liao 6-1, 6-2. 
Jared Phillips beat Connor Whittington 6-1, 6-2 at third singles and 
Eric Kuo defeated Chang 6-4, 6-0 at sixth singles. Ramireddy beat Alessio Azzalini 7-5, 1-6, 10-8 at second singles.
 
Huynh fell to Nguyen 6-4, 2-6, 10-8 at first singles.
 
The Bears are back home on Saturday against Hendrix at 12 p.m.
