#8 - Women's XC/TF Named Top Program in Division III

St. Louis, Mo., July 9, 2019 – The Washington University in St. Louis cross country and track & field program was awarded the Deb Vercauteren Women's Program of the Year by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the fourth year in a row.

The USTFCCCA Program of the Year Award honors the institution that achieved the most success in each academic year (spanning the cross country, indoor track & field and outdoor track & field seasons) bases on the institution's finish at the NCAA Championships.

The WashU women's program earned the award with five points after winning the cross country national championship while placing second in both the indoor and outdoor track & field national championships.
